The first SmackDown following WWE Fastlane ended in absolute chaos as Adam Pearce announced that Roman Reigns will defend the Universal Championship against Edge and Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat Match at Wrestlemania.
Prior to Adam Pearce announcing the Triple Threat Match for the Universal Title at WrestleMania, Daniel Bryan kicked-off Smakdown and he talked about how he successfully made Roman Reigns to tap out at Fastlane although it is quite unfortunate that he still remains the Champion. Bryan hits the ring with a steel step and demanded the Universal Championship rematch against Roman Reigns on SmackDown but Adam Pearce showed up and said that the he can’t fix the match because the next Universal Tittle Match defense is scheduled to hold at WrestleMania.
Daniel Bryan then suggested that he battles that winner of the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania immediately after the match ends but Adam Pearce turned him down. The Leader of The Yes Movement brought another suggestion again that since Roman Reigns will be defending the tittle against Edge at the first night of Wrestlemania then it would be a good idea if he battles the winner of the match at the second night of WrestleMania. Edge music hits the air and disrupted Adam Pearce from answering Bryan.
Edge stated that Roman Reigns have defeated Bryan twice in a one-on-one match and that Bryan doesn’t deserve to be in WrestleMania. This statement made Bryan angry and he attacked Edge but Edge maneuvered, hits him with a spear and decimated him with the steel step before leaving the ring.
Adam Pearce finally made his decision at the last segment of the Friday night Smackdown and officially announced that the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania will be a Triple Threat Match and it will feature Roman Reigns versus Edge versus Daniel Bryan. After Adam Pearce made the announcement Reigns , Bryan and Edge clashed in the ring and Edge stood tall of the man of Master Strategist.
Do not miss out WrestleMania on April 10 and 11 at Raymond James stadium at Tampa Bay Florida. WrestleMania will be live on Peacock within the United States and on WWE Network elsewhere.
