Nia Jax and Shayna Bazler defeated Charlotte Flair and Asuka last night at Royal Rumble to become the new WWE women’s Tag Team Champions.
Recall that Charlotte and Asuka defeated Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at Table, Ladders and Chairs last year to emerge asthe new WWE women’s tag team champions and since then they have been successfully defending their titles. However, Nai Jax and Baszler challenged them on RAW for a title match at Royal Rumble and they accepted the challenge.
The victory of Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler came up when the nature boy (Ric Flair) and Lacey Evans came to distract Charlotte Flair during her match which eventually paved way for Nia Jax to deliver her finisher on Charlotte and pined for the 3 count.
