Drew MycIntre won the match against Goldberg last night at Royal rumble to retain his WWE championship. Recall that the iconic Hall of Famer (Goldberg) made his shocking return to RAW last 3 weeks and challenged MycIntre to a match at Royal Rumble with the WWE title in line.
Drew MycIntre attacked Goldberg with a head boot and speared him before the match officially started. Goldberg spared him twice when the match started and also gave him a jackhammer but Mycintre resisted his victory by kicking out of 2 counts. The match eventually ended when Drew McIntyre hits Goldberg with the third claymore kick and pinned him for the 3 counts.
After Drew McIntyre’s victory Goldberg walked to him , embraced him and said ” You passed the test”. Both men had hand shake, hugged each other and showed themselves respect as the match ends.
