The Tribal Chief and preeminent Universal Champion has continued to extend his dominance on the Blue Brand by single handedly beating Rey Mysterio last night to retain his Universal Championship on SmackDown inside the Hell in a Cell match.

Last night main event of SmackDown was the first time Hell in a Cell match kicked off on SmackDown and Fox. It is also the first time that Hell in a Cell match kicked off in a Non pay-per-view event since 1988.

The match kicked off and Rey Mysterio was fully prepared for Roman Reigns as he brings up a big fight against the Head of the Table.

Watch the match below:

The match was a No disqualification and No count-out match. Rey Mysterio hits Reigns with a steel chair when the match kicked off, and he also used the fire extinguisher as a weapon to put down the Tribal Chief.

Rey Mysterio did all he could to win the match but his plans never materialized. He was lucky enough to deliver the 619 before Roman Reigns finally connected him with the Guillotine choke to make him tap out.
