Raw kicked off at exactly 8/7c in Climate Pledge Arena Seattle Washington and the show featured a Title Match in the Women’s Division.
Rey Mysterio versus Fin Balor was the opening match for Raw, the match was filled with energy, but at the end Dominik attacked his Dad with a chain thereby paving the way for Balor to hit the Coup De Grace for the victory.
Coddy Rhodes featured on the show and he talked about his journey so far in WWE. He made it clear in his promo that he worked hard and earned the opportunity for the Title shot against Roman Reigns.
Coddy also talked about the rubber chicken that was thrown at his head in the middle of 80,000 people at WrestleMania and the devastating attack on him from Brock Lesnar last week on Raw. Coddy then challenged Brock lesnar to a match at WrestleMania Backlash before leaving the arena.
The 10th of April episode of Raw also saw a Title Change of Hands in the Women’s Division as Becky Lynch & Lita lost their Titles to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Prior to the match, Lita was attacked backstage which then made Trish Stratus to stand in for her in their Title defense.
At the end of the match Stratus attacked Becky from behind before leaving the arena. Raw wasn’t a good night for Becky tonight and this will eventually pave the way for her to go for another Title shot in the Women’s Division.
The show also saw an intense war and brawl between Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed that ended in a Double Countout. The Usos also went Head-to-Head with The Alpha Academy and the match was filled wity huge momentum.
Iyo Sky also defeated Michen & Piper Niven in a Triple Threat Match to become the Number One Contender for the Raw Women’s Championship. Ivo’s entrance was magical and mind-blowing.
WWE also announced the date and venue for WrestleMania Backlash. The event will come up on the 6th of May at San Juan Puerto Rico. It was also announced that Brock Lesnar will return to Raw Next week.
The end of Raw was enchanting as Matt Riddle & Sami Zayn came to the rescue of Kevin Owens during a brutal attack from the Bloodline inside the WWE ring. Kevin, Sami and Riddle stood tall in the ring at the end while the Bloodline were left with no choice than to run for their lives.
