It’s official, The Tribal Chief will be defending the Universal Championship against the most rated R- Superstar at Money in the Bank pay-per-view event next month.
This announcement of Roman Reigns versus Edge for the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank came after Edge made his surprising return to SmackDown last night after two months of absence on WWE TV shows. Edge showed up when Roman Reigns was in the ring alongside with Paul Heyman to address his next challenger on the blue brand.
Edge didn’t just appeared on the show, he made his presence felt by single-handedly brutalizing Reigns and his cousin ‘Jimmy Uso’. After launching a visious on Roman Reigns, Edge met with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville backstage and demanded a Title match against Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
WWE has however announced and confirmed that Roman Reigns will be putting his Title in line against Edge at Money in the Bank pay-per-view and the event is going to be in the presence of live fans.
