The Almighty WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley has extended his reign as the WWE Champion after defeating Goldberg at the Biggest Party of the Summer, SummerSlam.
Goldberg returned to WWE and challenged Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship when there was almost no one that could step up to Lashley and challenge him for the WWE Title. Bobby Lashley got irritated and furious about Goldberg’s challenge and he promised to put an end to his career when they meet at SummerSlam.
The WWE Championship match between The Iconic Hall of Famer Goldberg and Bobby Lashley was a very intense one and MVP was at the ringside watching. Goldberg dished out severe punishment to Bobby Lashley at the early moments of the match, but MVP ruined his moment due to constant interventions and distractions.
Goldberg was lucky enough to hit Bobby Lashley with a spear outside the ring untill he fell into the trap of the Almighty when MVP caused multiple distractions. MVP eventually struck Goldberg’s leg with his staff when Goldberg was about to deliver a spear on Lashley.
Lashely took advantage of Goldberg’s injured leg to control the match. He smashed Goldberg to the steel post outside the ring and continued to capitalize more attack on the leg until Goldberg couldn’t continue to compete in the match, then Lashley retained his Title as the referee authorized the match to be stopped.
After the match ended, Bobby Lashley brought a steel chair into the ring and decimated Goldberg’s injured leg with it. Lashley’s attack on Goldberg triggered Gage to attack him from behind, but he quickly took out Gage before he finally left the arena.
